This is a treatment originating from Ancient Chinese medicine in which fine needles are inserted in at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative benefits. It aims to stimulate sensory nerves under the skin and muscles and stimulate the body to produce natural pain relieving substances called endorphins to help reduce pain and aid rehabilitation. It is useful for joint and muscular pain, migraines and headaches and chronic pain among others.

This is a gentle form of massage aimed at stimulating and improving the flow and circulation of the Lymphatic system. This will relieve painful swelling in your arms and legs caused by Lymphodaema and can also be used in cancer treatment to help those recovering from breast Cancer. The therapist will follow a sequence of hand movements and techniques to help reduce swelling or blockages in the lymphatic system.
